Isis The goddess Isis was the first daughter of Geb, god of the Earth, and Nut, the goddess of the Overarching Sky. Her only daughter was Horus. She was known for Motherhood, Marriage, Love, Health and Healing, Immortality and Magic. She wore red in most all of her historical images. She was also noted as wearing a throne on top of her head to represent her position as queen of the gods. She was frequently shown with a headdress on the top of her hair and on top of that a pair of cow horns surrounding a sun disk. Many pictures symbolize her holding a ankh in one hand. Isis was known to be the Queen of all Gods. She was also the brightest star in the sky. She disappears behind the sun for 70 days. Then after that she would reappear to announce the Nile flood. If i had to make a temple for Isis it would be a big white stone temple that looks a lot like the Lincoln Monument in Washington D.C. With the big white posts in front but her body in back with a stone house built over the body for safety protections. Then to be viewed simply in the back open are of the temple. I think that would make her more interesting with a big monument for her body to be in.
